At Itzinya Amersfoort we will be running a pilot with the StartUp Academy this September. During the three month program newcomers to The Netherlands will be empowered to start their business. To make them feel welcome to the training sessions and support the training practically we are looking for a Hostess / Host (8 hours / week, volunteer position).
The training will take place twice a week in Amersfoort for a period of three months, starting in September. Before the training session starts you will be there to set up the room and welcome the English speaking participants. If you speak other languages than English, such as Dutch or Arabic it would be extremely helpful. You make the participants feel welcome and support them practically. While the training session is in progress you will be in the background to support the participants and facilitators practically. As you will be interacting informally with the participants during and after the training sessions you will check in with them to get an idea how they are progressing and in which way the training is helping them.
Besides your support during the training sessions you will be also the primary contact person for new people applying at Itzinya Amersfoort. You will make sure that their application process is handled efficiently and that the applicant is kept in the loop about their application status.
